NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Wheaton’s Lindsey Brenneman was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Basketball Player of the Week Monday.
Brenneman, a senior guard from Overland Park, Kan., and Blue Valley Northwest High School (Elementary Education major), scored a game-high 17 points and pulled down four rebounds in a 63-52 win over North Park on Saturday. She became the 16th player in Wheaton history to score at least a 1,000 career points. The win over North Park clinched the Thunder the second seed in this weekend’s CCIW Women’s Basketball Tournament.
