NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Elmhurst’s Scottie Williams, Illinois Wesleyan’s Connor Klein and Carthage’s Brett Bukari were named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Football Players of the Week Monday.

He averaged 7.9 yards per carry and scored on touchdown runs of 21, 1, 1, and 11 yards. He also rushed for positive yardage on every carry and had one reception for 15 yards. His interception went for 32 yards that set up a second quarter touchdown.

Bukari, a junior kicker from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and Detroit Country Day (Marketing major), was 2-for-4 on field goals and 2-for-2 on PATs during a season-opening 20-17 win over Adrian on Saturday.
