Adam Dansdill and North Central’s
Al Willett were named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Football Players of the Week on Monday.
Frasco, a junior quarterback from Mt. Prospect, Illinois and Prospect High School (Business Administration major), totaled 340 yards of offense during the Vikings’ 59-6 win over Millikin on Saturday. He rushed for 104 yards on nine carries and two touchdowns on runs of 18 yards in the third quarter and 53 yards in the fourth quarter. Frasco also completed 13-of-19 passes for 236 yards and a 52-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter. The Vikings scored 49 points in the second half.
Dansdill, a junior linebacker from Wheaton, Illinois and Wheaton-Warrenville South High School (Engineering major), tallied 11 solo tackles during the Thunder’s conference-title clinching 21-2 win at Carthage on Saturday. Dansdill also finished with a tackle for loss, an interception of six yards and one pass breakup. The win earned Wheaton its 17th CCIW title in program history.
Willett, a junior linebacker from Hampshire, Illinois and Burlington Central High School (Marketing/Management major), played a major role in the kickoff coverage during North Central’s 38-31 win over Elmhurst on Saturday. The Bluejays were limited to just 10.6 yards per kickoff return as Willett made tackles on three of Elmhurst’s seven kickoff returns, which totaled just 17 yards.
