NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Park’s
Tommy Endres and North Central’s
Kris Singh were named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Baseball Players of the Week on Tuesday.
Endres, a junior from Lincolnwood, Illinois and Fullerton Community College, batted .636 (7-for-11) with four runs, four RBI and three stolen bases during North Park’s first three games in Ft. Myers, Florida. He was 3-for-4 with a double, triple and two RBI against Ohio Northern on March 8, 3-for-4 with two runs, one RBI and two stolen bases in a 14-6 win over Olivet on March 9, and 1-for-3 with one RBI and a stolen base against Lakeland on March 10.
Singh, a senior pitcher from Naperville, Illinois and Waubonsie Valley High School (Exercise Science major), pitched all seven innings during an 11-0 shutout of Loras on March 8. He finished with a career-high 12 strikeouts, one walk and only two hits in the win.

The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) was founded in 1946 and currently services eight member institutions including Augustana College (Rock Island, IL), Carthage College (Kenosha, WI), Elmhurst College (Elmhurst, IL), Illinois Wesleyan University (Bloomington, IL), Millikin University (Decatur, IL), North Central College (Naperville, IL), North Park University (Chicago, IL) and Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL). During the 2012-13 academic year, the CCIW honored over 1,400 academic all-conference recipients, 15 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-Americans, 30 CoSIDA Academic All-District recipients, 68 all-Americans and one national championship team.
