NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Illinois Wesleyan’s Maddison Zimmer and North Central’s Ebony Stallworth were named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week on Tuesday.

Zimmer, a sophomore from Delavan, Illinois and Delavan High School (Sociology major), won the 400-meter run at Illinois Wesleyan’s I-55 Triangular on Saturday. Her time of 58.03 was a personal best by 1.03 seconds and currently ranks third on the NCAA Division III Track & Field Results Reporting System (TFRRS) national list. She also finished with a time of 57.7 on the lead leg of the winning 4x400-meter relay (3:54.94) that is ranked No. 1 in the conference and in the nation.

Stallworth, a senior from South Holland, Illinois and Thornwood High School (Exercise Science major), broke the school record in the shot put for the second week in a row during North Central’s Cardinal Opener on Friday. She finished fourth with a throw of 46-3 1/2 (14.11 meters), which currently ranks fourth nationally.
