NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central’s Travis Morrison and Luke Winder were named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week on Tuesday.

Morrison, a senior from Hoffman Estates, Illinois and Schaumburg High School (Physics major), won the 10,000-meter run at the Wheaton Invitational over the weekend, clocking a personal best time of 30:10.62. His time currently ranks first in both the CCIW and on the NCAA Division III national list.

Winder, a freshman from Joliet, Illinois and Plainfield Central (Physical Education major), won the pole vault at Wheaton, finishing with a height of 17-0 ¾ (5.20 meters). He is also ranked first in both the CCIW and Division III national list.
