NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central’s
Aron Sebhat and Augustana’s
Marckus Simmons were named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week on Tuesday.
Sebhat, a senior from Skokie, Illinois and Niles North High School (Exercise Science major), won the mile run at North Central’s Cardinal Opener on Friday. He finished with a time of 4:10.21, which was a personal record that currently ranks first in the CCIW and third nationally in NCAA Division III.
Simmons, a junior from Westmont, Illinois and Downers Grove North High School (Biology (Pre-Med) major), won the weight throw at Monmouth’s Midwest Invitational on Saturday. His toss of 53-11 ¼ is currently first in the CCIW and 18th nationally.

The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) was founded in 1946 and currently services eight member institutions including Augustana College (Rock Island, IL), Carthage College (Kenosha, WI), Elmhurst College (Elmhurst, IL), Illinois Wesleyan University (Bloomington, IL), Millikin University (Decatur, IL), North Central College (Naperville, IL), North Park University (Chicago, IL) and Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL). During the 2014-15 academic year, the CCIW honored over 1,500 academic all-conference recipients, 19 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans, 46 CoSIDA Academic All-District recipients and 102 all-Americans.
