NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Park’s
Liz Rehberger was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Basketball Player of the Week on Monday.
Rehberger, a junior guard from Chicago, Illinois and Resurrection High School (Nursing major), helped lead the Vikings to a pair of wins last week. On Saturday, she scored 42 points and added nine rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals during a 118-108 win at North Central in the CCIW opener for both teams. Her 42 points against the Cardinals was a school record and was three points shy of the conference record. Rehberger added 13 points, three rebounds and two steals during a 67-58 win over Olivet on December 30.
