NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central’s Wilbur Williams was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Tennis Player of the Week on Wednesday.
 
Williams, a freshman from St. Thomas, Virgin Islands and Saint Peter & Paul (Computer Science major), went 3-0 in the Cardinals’ first three matches of their spring trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina. Playing in the No. 4 singles slot, he defeated Heidelberg’s Austin Buckhalter (6-0, 6-0) on March 18, followed by wins over Greenville (6-4, 6-3) and Loras’ Riley Michel (6-0, 6-1) on March 21.
