Elmhurst's Stanczak, North Central's Seiton named CCIW Women's Soccer Players of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Elmhurst’s Kim Stanczak and North Central’s Nicki Seiton were named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Soccer Players of the Week for September 6.
 
Stanczak, a junior midfielder from Batavia, Illinois and Batavia High School (Exercise Science major), totaled seven points while helping lead the Bluejays to a pair of wins last week. On Thursday, she scored a pair of goals in a 4-2 win over Dominican (Ill.). Two days later, Stanczak tallied a goal and an assist in a 3-0 shutout of Olivet.
 
Seiton, senior goalkeeper from Batavia, Illinois and Batavia High School (Marketing/Interactive Media Studies major), recorded 10 saves and one shutout for the 1-0-1 Cardinals last week. She made six saves while playing all 110 minutes of a 1-1 tie against Bethel on Sunday. Seiton made four saves in a 1-0 shutout of Edgewood to open the season on Thursday.
