NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central’s Dhruvil Patel won his second College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week honor on Tuesday.
 
Patel, a junior from Skokie, Illinois and Niles North High School (Accounting major), won the individual title at the Midwest Intercollegiate Invitational on Friday, hosted by Olivet Nazarene. He finished the 8K course in 25:00.7, which was nearly 12 seconds ahead of his nearest competitor. The Cardinals took the team title with a perfect score of 15.
