NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central’s
Alex Brummer was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Golfer of the Week on Wednesday.
Brummer, a freshman from Effingham, Illinois and Effingham High School (Biology major), won the individual title at Aurora University’s Spartan Fall Invitational, held September 25 at Blackberry Oaks Golf Course. She finished with a one-day score of three-over par 75 against a field of 44 golfers. The median score at Blackberry Oaks on Monday was 91. The day before, Brummer shot a 78 at the Dan Quayle Collegiate Classic in Clayton, Indiana.
