NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central’s
Victor Krueger was selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Tennis Player of the Week on Wednesday.
Krueger, a junior from Stockholm, Sweden and Viktor Rydberg Gymnasium (International Business major), went 2-0 in the Cardinals’ 5-4 win over Concordia (Wis.) on Friday. Krueger and partner Marco Davila won at No. 2 doubles (8-4) and clinched the team victory by beating Nolan Rademacher (7-5, 6-1) at No. 1 singles. Krueger’s two wins on Friday gave him 50 for his North Central career.

During the 2016-17 academic year, the CCIW honored over 1,900 academic all-conference recipients, 10 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans, 33 CoSIDA Academic All-District recipients, one CoSIDA Academic All-American of the Year and over 100 all-Americans.
