NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central’s Addie Records and Illinois Wesleyan’s Dani Engelbreit were selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Lacrosse Players of the Week on Monday.
 
Records, a freshman attacker from Chesterfield, Missouri and Cor Jesu Academy (Exercise Science major), totaled five goals, eight assists and seven ground balls for the 2-0 Cardinals last week. She played a part in eight of her team’s 13 goals during a 13-9 win over Carthage on April 11 as she totaled two goals and six assists. Records also added three goals, two assists and six ground balls in an 18-6 win at Adrian on April 13.
 
Engelbreit, a junior midfielder from Elk Grove, Illinois and Conant High School (Psychology major), helped lead a Titan defense that held both of their opponents to a season low in shots this season. Illinois Wesleyan held Carthage to just nine shots in a 17-2 victory on April 15, while the Titans held Elmhurst to just 15 shots in a 19-4 road win on April 11. Engelbreit had three ground balls, two caused turnovers and six draw controls against the Lady Reds, and three ground balls, two caused turnovers and six draw controls against the Bluejays. She also combined for seven goals and three assists.
