Elmhurst's Knoebel, North Central's Richardson-Clerk named CCIW Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Elmhurst’s Grace Knoebel and North Central’s Mynk Richardson-Clerk were selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Lacrosse Players of the Week on Monday.
 
Knoebel, a senior attacker from Hartland, Wisconsin and Arrowhead High School (Biology major), scored 13 goals, added one assist and 16 draw controls for the 1-1 Bluejays last week. She finished with seven goals, including the game winner, one assist and seven draw controls in a 16-7 win over Monmouth (Ill.) on March 26. Knoebel added five goals and nine draw controls against Loras on March 28.  
 
Richardson-Clerk, a sophomore midfielder from Hoffman Estates, Illinois and Hoffman Estates High School (Political Science major), helped lead the Cardinals to a 2-0 record last week. She totaled two ground balls and three caused turnovers in a 20-4 win at Beloit on March 28, as well as six ground balls and two caused turnovers in a 23-5 win over Northwestern (Minn.) on March 31. Richardson-Clerk also had three goals and three draw controls in both games and added two assists against Northwestern (Minn.).
