NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Millikin’s Shane McDade was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Swimmer of the Week Tuesday.

McDade, a freshman from Wheeling, Ill., and Wheeling High School (Sport & Fitness major), won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:00.92 against Illinois Wesleyan last Tuesday. He also placed second in the 100 freestyle (51.78) against the Titans. On Saturday against Monmouth, he again won the 100 breaststroke (1:01.06). Earlier in the week, he took first in the 200 breaststroke (2:17.88) and the 200 freestyle (1:59.38) against Illinois College.
