North Central's Gamble named CCIW Men's Basketball Player of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central’s Landon Gamble was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Basketball Player of the Week Monday.

Gamble, a sophomore forward from Joliet, Ill., and Lockport Township High School (Undeclared major), led North Central in scoring in two wins last week. He scored 18 points on 9-of-16 shooting in just 22 minutes during a 73-54 win over North Park last Tuesday. He then put up 21 points and eight rebounds as the Cardinals erased a four-point deficit late in the second half to beat Carthage in overtime 77-74 on Saturday. The two wins put North Central in sole possession of first place in the CCIW.
