NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central’s Aaron Tiknis was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the second-straight week on Monday.

Tiknis, a junior forward from Chicago, Ill., and Grand River Academy (Sport Management major), finished with a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds during a 75-49 win over North Park last Tuesday. Against the Vikings, he finished 6-of-10 from the field and 3-of-4 from the three-point line in just 24 minutes. Tiknis followed that up with eight points, five rebounds, five assists and two blocks while again playing only 24 minutes in a 91-58 win over Millikin on Saturday.
