NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central’s Jack Burchett was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Basketball Player of the Week on Monday.

Burchett, a senior forward from Mokena, Illinois and Providence Catholic High School (Accounting major), helped lead the Cardinals to a 78-72 win over ninth-ranked Illinois Wesleyan in the CCIW opener on January 3. He led with a game-high 25 points (9-of-16 shooting), along with five rebounds and four assists as it was the first time Burchett led North Central in scoring this season.
