NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central’s
Ken Hoffman was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.
Hoffman, a senior from Apple Valley, Minnesota and Eastview High School (Actuarial Sciences major), was the highest-placing CCIW athlete at the UW-Oshkosh AAE Invitational on Saturday at Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winnecone, Wisconsin. He placed sixth in the 8K with a time of 24:43.5 as the Cardinals finished second in a 45-team field.

During the 2014-15 academic year, the CCIW honored over 1,500 academic all-conference recipients, 19 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans, 46 CoSIDA Academic All-District recipients and 102 all-Americans.
