North Park's Henry wins fourth CCIW Men's Basketball Player of the Week honor

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – For the fourth time this season, North Park’s Juwan Henry was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Basketball Player of the Week as announced Monday.
 
Henry, a junior guard from Chicago, Illinois and Bogan High School (Sport Management major), averaged 36.0 points for the 1-1 Vikings last week. He scored a career-high 47 points, along with three rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals in a 93-86 victory over Carthage on January 27. Henry’s 47 points currently ranks second on the school’s single-game scoring list. He followed up with 25 points, four rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal in a 95-92 overtime loss to second-ranked Augustana on January 30.

The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) was founded in 1946 and currently services eight member institutions including Augustana College (Rock Island, IL), Carthage College (Kenosha, WI), Elmhurst College (Elmhurst, IL), Illinois Wesleyan University (Bloomington, IL), Millikin University (Decatur, IL), North Central College (Naperville, IL), North Park University (Chicago, IL) and Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL). During the 2014-15 academic year, the CCIW honored over 1,500 academic all-conference recipients, 19 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans, 46 CoSIDA Academic All-District recipients and 102 all-Americans.
