Carthage's Behrendt, Illinois Wesleyan's Corey named CCIW Women's Volleyball Players of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Carthage's Megan Behrendt and Illinois Wesleyan's Madi Corey were selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's Volleyball Players of the Week on Tuesday.

Behrendt, a senior outside hitter from Lindenhurst, Illinois and Lakes Community High School, helped lead Carthage to a 3-0 sweep over Wheaton in the Lady Reds' only match last week. She finished with nine kills, hit .500, and added 13 digs and two service aces in the win over the Thunder.

Corey, a sophomore setter from Frankfort, Illinois and Lincoln-Way East High School, helped the Titans pick up their first victory of the season in a 3-0 sweep at Millikin in their only match last week. She had 12 set assists, four service aces, three digs and added five kills in the win.
