NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- North Central's Andrew Kamienski, Illinois Wesleyan's Dave Lux and Washington University in St. Louis' Chris Vartanian were selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Football Players of the Week on Monday.

Kamienski, a junior wide receiver from Pingree Grove, Illinois and South Elgin High School, caught 11 passes for 135 yards and three touchdown catches during the Cardinals' 42-14 win over Augustana on Saturday. Kamienski has exceeded 100 receiving yards in all five games this season and has caught at least 10 passes in three of the last four weeks. His career-high three receiving touchdowns matches the third-highest single-game total in North Central history and he established a new North Central record for career receptions (182). This is also the second CCIW Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season for Kamienski.

Lux, a senior linebacker from New Lenox, Illinois and Lincoln-Way North High School, had eight solo tackles and four tackles-for-loss in the Titans' 31-7 win at Carthage on Saturday. Illinois Wesleyan held the Red Men to 265 yards of offense including just 40 rushing yards. The Titans recorded 14 tackles-for-loss, four sacks and held Carthage to a 1-for-11 performance on third down.

Vartanian, a freshman kicker from Newport Beach, California and St. Margaret's Episcopal School, established a school record with four field goals, all in the first half, during the Bears' 47-7 win over Elmhurst on Saturday. Vartanian recorded 16 points in the win, and connected on field goals from 22, 42, 33 and 42 yards. His four field goals are second all-time in CCIW history. On eight kickoffs, Vartanian had three touchbacks and limited Elmhurst to an average starting position at the 22-yard line.
