North Central's Raridon named CCIW Men's Basketball Player of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- North Central senior forward Connor Raridon was selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday.

A native of Plainfield, Illinois and Neuqua Valley High School, Raridon helped lead the Cardinals to three wins last week. He scored 20 points, and added four rebounds, four assists and two steals in an 83-71 win over Concordia (Texas) on December 28, followed by 11 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals in an 83-79 win over Sul Ross State on December 29, both games in Austin, Texas. Raridon tied a career high in scoring with 36 points, including 17 in the second half and seven in overtime, of a 74-71 win against Wheaton on January 4. He finished a perfect 15-of-15 from the free throw line and had eight rebounds and six assists against the Thunder.
