NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) recently took part in a conference-wide initiative to help get students registered to vote, while also using their influence to encourage voting on their respective campuses.

The following video includes testimonials from student-athletes on the importance of voting, followed by footage from the various voter registration drives that took place on CCIW member campuses throughout the fall.  

Student-athletes speaking in this video (in order of appearance) include North Park's Josie Summerville (Women's Basketball) and Aquil Spates (Men's Basketball), North Central's Lindsey Novak (Women's Soccer), Augustana's Jacob Barker and Josh Chamberlain (Baseball), North Central's Kily Egan (Women's Soccer) and Millikin's Jessi Kreder (Women's Volleyball).
