NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- North Central's Justin Curtis and Jason Eslinger were selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Volleyball Players of the Week on Monday.

Curtis, a senior middle blocker from Woodland Hills, California and El Camino Real High School, had 30 kills on 50 attempts (.560) with only two errors for the 4-0 Cardinals last week. He had eight kills on 14 attempts (.500) in a four-set win over Lakeland on February 11, 11 kills on 16 attempts (.688) in a five-set win over California Lutheran on February 14, three kills in a sweep of Millikin, and eight kills on 11 attempts (.636) in a sweep of St. Norbert on February 15. He also had four total blocks against Lakeland and five vs. California Lutheran.

Eslinger, a senior right side hitter from Lancaster, California and Quartz Hill High School, totaled 44 digs, 11 total blocks and five service aces during the Cardinals' 4-0 week. He had a career-high 20 digs against California Lutheran and set another career high with six total blocks, along with 17 digs against Lakeland. He also had 16 kills against Lakeland, 15 against California Lutheran and 10 vs. Millikin.
