NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- North Park won its fourth-straight College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) men's soccer title following a 2-0 win over MIllikin on Wednesday.
The Vikings are 7-0 in the regular season with one more CCIW match against Augustana on October 30. NPU has earned the opportunity to host a CCIW Men's Soccer Tournament semifinal match on Wednesday November 3rd.
This is the second title under head coach Kris Grahn, a former all-American who was named the CCIW Player of the Year in 2010.
The CCIW Championship will begin on November 3rd with two semi-finals matches at the #1 and #2 seeds. The final will be played on Saturday November 7 at the highest remaining seed.
The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) was founded in 1946 and currently services nine member institutions including Augustana College (Rock Island, IL), Carroll University (Waukesha, WI), Carthage College (Kenosha, WI), Elmhurst University (Elmhurst, IL), Illinois Wesleyan University (Bloomington, IL), Millikin University (Decatur, IL), North Central College (Naperville, IL), North Park University (Chicago, IL) and Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL).
