North Central's Boelke named CCIW Men's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- North Central senior Matt Boelke was selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week on Tuesday. 

A native of Naperville, Illinois and Naperville North High School, Boelke placed 12th in the 8K at the Louisville Cross Country Silver Pre-National race on Saturday, October 2. His time of 24:45.2 helped lead the Cardinals to a fifth place finish out of 42 teams. Boelke and the Cardinals competed on the same course where the 2021 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships will take place on Saturday, November 20.
