Tori Stuart and
Madi Corey of Illinois Wesleyan were selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's Volleyball Student-Athletes of the Week on Tuesday. This is the second weekly award of the season for both players.
Stuart, a junior Biology major from Florissant, Missouri, led the Big Blue to a 3-0 week capped by a thrilling five-set victory over DePauw in which Stuart led the way with 21 kills, 10 digs, and three service aces. Stuart tallied 13 kills and nine digs in a four-set win over WashU on Saturday and also had 14 kills and eight digs in a three-set sweep of Carroll.
Corey, a senior Political Science major from Frankfort, Illinois was all over the court for the Titans in Wednesday's three-set victory over Carthage to secure an outright CCIW title for the Titans. Corey dished out 20 assists and also tallied 10 kills and 11 digs, while serving up four aces, as the Titans finished the match hitting .236 as a team
