2021 CCIW Cup Series
NAPERVILLE, Ill. – College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) swimming & diving programs will conclude the 2020-21 season in a culminating event titled the “CCIW Cup Series”, to be held February 26-27.
The series begins Friday, February 26 as Millikin and Carroll compete at 1 p.m. at Carthage’s Koenitzer Aquatic Center. The series concludes on Saturday, February 27 as Carthage hosts Augustana at Carthage’s Koenitzer Aquatic Center. Diving begins at 9 a.m., followed by swimming at 1 p.m. Wheaton hosts Illinois Wesleyan and North Central at 11 a.m. at Wheaton’s Lederhouse Natatorium.
While not a true CCIW Championship, and it will not appear in the record books, the event gives student-athletes the opportunity for a culminating experience this season.
Individual results from all three sessions will be merged together to determine the best times in each event across the series of meets. Individual accomplishments will be recognized, but no team scores will be recorded. The results from all three CCIW Cup Series events will be published after all events are completed on Saturday.
Due to state and local restrictions, as well as campus visitor policies, no spectators are allowed at any competition at this time.
Saturday’s sessions will be live streamed by Carthage and Wheaton, while footage of Friday’s session will be made available upon the conclusion of Saturday’s events. Additionally, live results will be posted via meet mobile.
