NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- North Central's Elle Sutter and Jordan Boyd were selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's Soccer Student-Athletes of the Week on Tuesday.

Sutter, a sophomore forward from Peoria, Illinois and Dunlap High School, scored both of her team's goals on four shots in a 2-1 win over Alma on September 18. Her first goal came in the 11th minute off an assist from Kaitlyn Cannon. She then broke a 1-1 tie in the 79th minute with her fourth goal of the season off an assist from Alaina Kuhn. 

Boyd, a sophomore goalkeeper from St. Charles, Illinois and St. Charles North High School, totaled 12 saves in three matches for the 2-1-0 Cardinals last week. She made seven saves in a 1-0 loss to Loras on September 15, followed by five saves in the win over Alma. Boyd was also in goal for all 90 minutes of a 1-0 shutout at Knox on September 19.
