2022 CCIW All-Conference Team

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced today the 16 members of the 2022 All-Conference Women's Basketball Team.

Additionally, the conference announced its season-ending award recipients as well as the nine student-athletes named as the CCIW's RESPECT Award winners.

Millikin sophomore guard Elyce Knudsen was named the 2022 Lori Kerans Most Outstanding Student-Athlete after helping lead the Big Blue to a share of the CCIW regular season title. She is Millikin's first recipient since Lindsay Ippel in 2007 and 2008.

Knudsen, along with teammate Jordan Hildebrand, Augustana's Gabbi Loiz, Illinois Wesleyan's Brooke Lansford and North Park's Jayla Johnson were all unanimous First Team selections.

Caroll freshman guard Olivia Rangel, a First Team selection, won 2022 CCIW First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year honors, becoming Carroll's first-ever recipient of the award, which was established in 2013.

Millikin's Olivia Lett won the CCIW Beth Baker Coach of the Year award for the first time in her career as the Big Blue won a share of the CCIW's regular season title with Illinois Wesleyan. Lett and Millikin will host the semifinal and final rounds of the 2022 CCIW Women's Basketball Tournament this weekend at the Griswold Center.

RESPECT Award: At the conclusion of every sports season, each varsity program will recognize one student-athlete as their RESPECT Award honoree. RESPECT Award recipients have distinguished themselves as an integral member of the team, their institution and community by upholding the values of Responsibility, Enthusiasm, Service, Pride, Excellence, Collaboration and Trust. The RESPECT Award recognizes the intangible traits a student-athlete possesses that exemplify great character and encourages inclusiveness and a positive culture.
