Jared Moser and Carthage's
Kyle Cohan were selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Volleyball Student-Athletes of the Week on Monday.
Moser, a junior outside hitter from Wheeling, Illinois and Wheeling High School, won his second CCIW Athlete of the Week honor after averaging 4.43 kills per set for the 3-0 Cardinals last week. He tied a season high with 18 kills and hit .464 with five digs, two blocks and one service ace in a four-set win over Fontbonne on March 12. Earlier in the day, Moser had nine kills in a sweep of North Park. He had four kills and hit .429 while playing one set in a 3-0 sweep at Millikin on March 9.
Cohan, a senior libero from Ballwin, Missouri and St. Louis University High School, won his second-straight CCIW Athlete of the Week award after helping lead the Firebirds to a pair of wins last week. He totaled 15 digs in a four-set win at Loras on March 9, followed by nine digs in a sweep of Fontbonne on March 11.
