2022 CCIW All-Conference Team

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced today the 10 members of the 2022 All-Conference Bowling Team.

Additionally, the conference announced its season-ending award recipients as well as the nine student-athletes named as the CCIW's RESPECT Award winners.

Carthage's Caitlin Powers was named the 2022 CCIW Bowling Student-Athlete of the Year following First Team honors. North Central sophomore Jessica Ramirez also earned First Team honors and was named the 2022 CCIW Bowling First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year. North Central's Jacob Sandborn earned 2022 CCIW Coach of the Year honors.

Aurora junior Alex Bergin, Marian sophomore Jenna Betts and Carroll freshman Emma Pfaffl joined Powers and Ramirez on the First Team.

Augustana freshman Maddie Lathrop, Aurora sophomore Karlea Ceasario, Carthage freshman Ashley Turner, and Marian freshmen Addison Jacak and Brenna Schiekiera were selected to the Second Team.       

RESPECT Award: At the conclusion of every sports season, each varsity program will recognize one student-athlete as their RESPECT Award honoree. RESPECT Award recipients have distinguished themselves as an integral member of the team, their institution and community by upholding the values of Responsibility, Enthusiasm, Service, Pride, Excellence, Collaboration and Trust. The RESPECT Award recognizes the intangible traits a student-athlete possesses that exemplify great character and encourages inclusiveness and a positive culture.

The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) was founded in 1946 and currently services nine member institutions including Augustana College (Rock Island, IL), Carroll University (Waukesha, WI), Carthage College (Kenosha, WI), Elmhurst University (Elmhurst, IL), Illinois Wesleyan University (Bloomington, IL), Millikin University (Decatur, IL), North Central College (Naperville, IL), North Park University (Chicago, IL) and Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL). Associate members in Women's Bowling include Aurora University, Lakeland University and Marian University.
