NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Marian's Isabelle Barber was selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Bowling Student-Athlete of the Week on Wednesday.

Barber, a sophomore from Cheboygan, Michigan and Cheboygan High School, helped lead Marian to a ninth place finish at the USBC - Addison Sectionals over the weekend. She participated in 90 percent of the 64 Baker games and had an 86 percent fill rate. Barber also finished with a 46 percent strike rate, was 17-for-20 in single pin attempts and 22-for-30 in multiple spare attempts.

The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) was founded in 1946 and currently services nine member institutions including Augustana College (Rock Island, IL), Carroll University (Waukesha, WI), Carthage College (Kenosha, WI), Elmhurst University (Elmhurst, IL), Illinois Wesleyan University (Bloomington, IL), Millikin University (Decatur, IL), North Central College (Naperville, IL), North Park University (Chicago, IL) and Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL). Associate members in Women's Bowling include Aurora University, Lakeland University and Marian University.
