Quinn Robinson and North Central's
Matt Nealon were selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Volleyball Student-Athletes of the Week on Monday.
Robinson, a junior from Redondo, California and Redondo Union High School, won his second CCIW Men's Volleyball Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week honor while helping the Vikings go 2-1 last week. He finished with seven kills, hit .538 and added seven service aces in a four-set win at Wittenberg on March 15. His seven service aces established a new program record for aces in a match. Robinson totaled 13 kills and hit .706 in a four-set win at Wabash on March 16, followed by 12 kills and a .417 hitting percentage against Loras on March 20. His .706 hitting percentage against Wabash was a season-high for the Vikings.
Nealon, a senior setter from Naperville, Illinois and Metea Valley High School, won his second CCIW Men's Volleyball Athlete of the Week honor after helping lead the Cardinals to a four-set win at Illinois Wesleyan on March 18. He finished with 45 set assists, which was one short of his season high, along with seven digs and two blocks. Additionally, North Central finished with a .322 team attack percentage against the Titans.
