2022 CCIW All-Conference Team

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced today the 18 members of the 2022 CCIW All-Conference Men's Volleyball Team.

Carthage senior outside hitter Matt Slivinski won his third-straight CCIW Offensive Student-Athlete of the Year award after he was first in the conference in service aces (27), third in points (141) and fourth in total kills (106). Slivinski's teammate Kyle Cohan won his first CCIW Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year honor after he was second in the conference in digs (107). Both Slivinski and Cohan were named to the First Team on Tuesday.

Loras' Corey Mayotte was named the CCIW First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year. He was the only freshman named to the all-conference squad as he was voted to the Second Team. Mayotte was ninth in the conference in total digs (62).

Carthage's JW Kieckhefer won his third-straight CCIW Coach of the Year honor after leading the Firebirds to their third-straight regular season title in 2022. Carthage went 12-0 in CCIW play and are 30-0 all-time against conference competition.

Joining Slivinski and Cohan on the First Team were Carthage's Carter Schmidt and Zach Bulthuis, Loras' Dorian Fiorenza and Patrick Mahoney, and North Central's Jared Moser and Matt Nealon.

Joining Mayotte on the Second Team were Augustana's Max Sellers, Loras' Joe Horn, North Central's Jeremy Cardenas and Jake Miller, and North Park's Erik Bullard, Emmanuel Eugene, and Quinn Robinson.

RESPECT Award recipients have distinguished themselves as an integral member of the team, their institution and community by upholding the values of Responsibility, Enthusiasm, Service, Pride, Excellence, Collaboration and Trust.
