NAPERVILLE – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced Football Student-Athlete of the Week award winners for the 10th week of the 2023 season on Monday afternoon.
 
Co-Offense: Luke Lehnen, North Central
Lehnen led North Central to an 83-point effort last Saturday at Illinois Wesleyan. The junior quarterback from Chatham, Ill. led NCC to touchdowns on all seven first-half possessions, finishing the day 13-for-15 for 291 yards and four touchdowns in the air. He also rushed for 65 yards and a fifth touchdown.
 
Co-Offense: Collin Goldberg, WashU
Goldberg had 15 receptions for 197 yards in WashU’s game at Wheaton on Saturday. His 15 receptions were a single-game WashU record, tied for fifth most in a Division III game this season, as well as the 14th instance of a Division III player making at least 15 grabs in a game in 2023. 
 
Defense: Tim Swaney, Augustana
Swaney led Augustana to its sixth consecutive win on Saturday, tallying 16 total tackles in the Vikings’ 16-13 win over Carthage. Eleven of Swaney’s stops were unassisted. The Cincinnati native also finished the afternoon with 2.0 tackles for loss and a pass breakup and is now a two-time CCIW Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week in 2023.
 
Special Teams: Joey Lombardi, North Central
Lombardi helped North Central set the tone for its win with a 97-yard touchdown return on the opening kickoff. The senior from Chicago is now one of only four players in Division III with multiple kickoff returns for a touchdown this season.
