Elle Sutter of North Central Named CSC Academic All-American

NAPERVILLE -- The North Central College women's soccer team claimed their first College Sports Communicators (CSC) NCAA Division III Academic All-American first-team slot with the election of Elle Sutter.

Entering her name on the ballot marks the program's first USC Academic All-American selection while giving Sutter her fifth postseason selection of the year.
Senior health science major, Sutter, has completed the academic year with a 3.82 GPA earning her a CSC All-District selection and a United Soccer Coaches' (USC) Scholar All-American first-team selection.

Sutter completed the season being named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's (CCIW) offensive student-athlete of the year, received the program's first-ever NCAA first-team All-American selection, earned her first Academic All-District slot, and an All-CCIW first-team selection. This came from a record-setting season breaking the program records in career points (113), single-season points (60), career goals (49), and single-season goals (27).

The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) was founded in 1946 and currently services nine member institutions including Augustana College (Rock Island, Ill.), Carroll University (Waukesha, Wis.), Carthage College (Kenosha, Wis.), Elmhurst University (Elmhurst, Ill.), Illinois Wesleyan University (Bloomington, Ill.), Millikin University (Decatur, Ill.), North Central College (Naperville, Ill.), North Park University (Chicago, Ill.) and Wheaton College (Wheaton, Ill.).
