NAPERVILLE – The final College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Volleyball Student-Athletes of the Week for the month of February are Corey Mayotte of Loras and Tyler Donovan of North Central, the conference office announced Monday afternoon.

Mayotte, now a two-time CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week as a hitter in 2023 after earning the honor on Jan. 23, averaged 4.18 kills per set with a .500 attacking percentage over three matches for the Duhawks last week. The 6-foot-2 sophomore from Geneva, Ill. had 12 kills last Tuesday at Benedictine, five kills without an error on Friday at Aurora and then set a Loras 5-set-match record with 29 kills in Saturday’s win at Dominican. Mayotte also had four service aces for the week.

Donovan averaged 9.33 assists, 2.17 digs and 1.33 blocks per set for North Central last week to earn the CCIW’s top setter/libero/defensive honor of the week. His performances, which included eight total blocks, pushed the Cardinals to a pair of three-set sweeps over Trine and Augustana.
