First-Place Cardinals Sweep Weekly CCIW Awards

NAPERVILLE – Senior Jared Moser and junior Tyler Donovan of North Central have been selected as College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athletes of the Week in Men’s Volleyball on Monday afternoon.
 
The duo led the Cardinals to three CCIW wins last week and extended NCC’s win streak to 10 matches.
 
Moser, a senior outside hitter from Wheeling, Ill., averaged 4.5 kills and 0.5 service aces per set with a .578 hitting percentage. He had 14 kills on 21 attempts without an error in Saturday’s sweep or Loras, then followed up with another 13 kills when the Cardinals downed Augustana on Sunday.
 
Donovan is a CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week for the fourth time in the last five weeks, averaging 10.6 assists, 2.0 digs and 0.5 blocks per set for NCC.
