NAPERVILLE – Jared Moser of regular-season league champion North Central and Vince DiCosola of Illinois Wesleyan have been selected College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Volleyball Student-Athletes of the Week, according to an announcement from the league office on Monday.
 
Moser, who has won back-to-back Hitter of the Week accolades from the CCIW, delivered a dominant performance for the Cardinals on Saturday at Carthage to help NCC clinch its first-ever CCIW title. The 6-foot-2 senior outside hitter broke a single-match school record with 22 kills in a three-set match. His attack percentage for the match was .457 to go along with five digs and a service ace.
 
DiCosola is a first-time CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week after lifting the Titans to two league victories last week. The sophomore from Aurora, Ill. averaged 8.57 assists and 1.86 digs over seven sets played in matches against Augustana and North Park. He registered 34 assists, eight digs and a pair of block assists in Saturday’s four-set win at Augustana.
