CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Harrison Boushele of Augustana baseball has been named by Perfect Game the NCAA Division III's Most Outstanding Pitcher, the publication announced last month.

Boushele, who recently achieved All-American status from both ABCA/Rawlings and D3baseball.com, was crowned Most Outstanding Pitcher by Perfect Game on June 14. The junior tosser finished the season with an 8-3 record, 109 strikeouts in 83 innings, and allowed just 57 hits. Boushele's 1.63 ERA across 13 games led the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, while his 25 walks kept his season WHIP to 0.99. The right-hander also netted Pitcher of the Year recognition from both Region 8 and the CCIW.

Additionally, Augustana finished No. 25 in Perfect Game's final rankings. The Vikings achieved a school record 39 wins and boasted nine all-conference selections. CCIW Coach of the Year Greg Wallace led the Vikings to their second consecutive conference tournament championship,  as well as their first outright conference regular season title since 2014.
