NAPERVILLE – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its Men’s Soccer Student-Athletes of the Week on Tuesday for matches played between Monday, Oct. 6 and Sunday, Oct. 12.
 
Offensive: Alexander Gahm, North Park, Freshman (Träslövsläge, Sweden)
Gahm scored his first collegiate goal for the Vikings in their 2-0 win over Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday in Chicago. Gahm, who also had a shot attempt in 75 minutes against Elmhurst last Wednesday, has made an appearance in the starting lineup in each of NPU’s last three matches.
 
Defensive: Jostein Blindheim, North Park, Fifth Year (Molde, Norway)
Blindheim played a critical role in a pair of North victories last week – both shutouts. Blindheim played 75 minutes and had three shot attempts to lift the Vikings over Elmhurst last Wednesday, 1-0. He later scored the match-winning goal in the 22nd minute of North Park’s 2-0 shutout of Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday
