North Park Makes Big Jump to #10 in Division III Poll

NAPERVILLE – North Park achieved its highest men’s soccer ranking in nearly two years when the Vikings earned the #10 spot in the United Soccer Coaches poll released on Tuesday.
 
NPU marched to 7-0-3, winning its College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) last Saturday versus Augustana in the process, as part of its ongoing four-match win streak. Tuesday’s announcement marks North Park’s highest national ranking since Oct. 18, 2022.
 
Mary Washington is still the nation’s #1 team with a 9-0-1 mark. Tufts jumped three positions to #2.
 
Illinois Wesleyan received votes in the USC poll for the first time on Tuesday. The Titans are 6-0-2 after last Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Wabash.

The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) was founded in 1946 and currently services nine member institutions including Augustana College (Rock Island, Ill.), Carroll University (Waukesha, Wis.), Carthage College (Kenosha, Wis.), Elmhurst University (Elmhurst, Ill.), Illinois Wesleyan University (Bloomington, Ill.), Millikin University (Decatur, Ill.), North Central College (Naperville, Ill.), North Park University (Chicago, Ill.) and Wheaton College (Wheaton, Ill.).
