NAPERVILLE – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its Women’s Soccer Student-Athletes of the Week on Tuesday for matches played between Monday, Oct. 7 and Sunday, Oct. 13.
 
Offensive: Elle Sutter, North Central, Fifth Year (Peoria, Ill.)
Sutter made it four CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week selections in 2024 after adding three more goals and an assist to her season totals last week.
 
In last Wednesday’s 6-0 win at Millikin, Sutter converted a pair of first-half insurance goals for the Cardinals. Three days later in Naperville, Sutter assisted on the match winner in the 48th minute and later hit the back of the net in the 84th minute of NCC’s 2-0 shutout of Carthage.
 
Sutter is the league’s leading scorer with 19 goals, 12 assists and 50 points this season.
 
Defensive: Kenzie Blau, Carroll, Fifth Year (Sturgeon Bay, Wis.)
Blau logged a goal in her second consecutive start and also assisted on another CU strike as the Pioneers blanked North Park on Saturday, 3-0. The fifth-year defender tallied her third goal of the season and eighth of her career that doubled the Pios’ lead in the 55th minute.
