NAPERVILLE – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its Football Student-Athletes of the Week on Monday for games played during week 10 of the 2024 season.
 
Offense: Luke Lehnen, North Central, Fifth Year (Chatham, Ill.)
Lehnen collected weekly honors from the league office for the third time this season after directing the #1 Cardinals to nine touchdowns on nine offensive drives in their 70-7 victory over Elmhurst on Saturday.
 
Lehnen was 15-for-16 for 347 yards and three touchdowns in the win, adding an 83-yard run for another score. The fifth-year signal-caller now owns the NCAA all-divisions record for touchdowns responsible for with 193 and also established a new NCC record with 146 career touchdown passes – fifth-most in Division III history.
 
Defense: Peter Johanik, Wheaton, Junior (West Chicago, Ill.)
Johanik led the 23rd-ranked Thunder with eight total tackles in their 64-10 win at Millikin, including 6.0 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks.
 
The 6.0 tackles for loss were tied for the third-most in a Division III game this season, while his 3.5 sacks were most by a Wheaton defender since Oct. 16, 2021.
 
Special Teams: Nate Tofilon, Wheaton, Junior (Palatine, Ill.)
Tofilon scored a second-quarter special-teams touchdown in Wheaton’s win at Millikin, returning a blocked punt for a score that pushed WC in front, 21-3. Tofilon, now a two-time CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week in 2024, also punted once for 36 yards and made a tackle on kickoff return.
