NAPERVILLE – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) tabbed Mason Funk of Illinois Wesleyan the league’s Student-Athlete of the Week in men’s basketball on Monday afternoon.
Funk finished last Thursday’s 84-68 victory over #2 WashU with 20 points and five rebounds – his second consecutive 20-point performance. He went 7-for-16 overall with four 3-pointers made. The 6-foot-5 sophomore guard from Normal, Ill. also had two assists and two blocks in lifting the ninth-ranked Titans to their ninth victory of the campaign.
