NAPERVILLE – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced Student-Athlete of the Week award winners in women’s swimming & diving from Carthage and Augustana on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Women’s Swimming: Sydney Logan, Carthage
Logan, a junior from Buffalo Grove, Ill., set three lifetime bests on Saturday at the Wisconsin Private College Championships hosted by the Firebirds in Kenosha. Her times – all second on the CCIW leaderboard this season – were 18:22.67 in the 1650, 5:17.00 in the 500 freestyle and 1:59.30 in the 200 freestyle.
 
Co-Diving: Kaite Zaborenko, Augustana
On Saturday against Wheaton, Zaborenko placed first in six dives in 1-meter diving with a score of 168.30. The Glenview, Ill. native made it a clean sweep with another win in 3-meter diving, totaling 173.50 points over six dives.
 
Co-Diving: Katie Talens, Carthage
Talens was the winner in 1-meter diving in Kenosha over the weekend, scoring 292.55 over 11 dives. The senior from Des Plaines, Ill. also established a new personal-best score in 3-meter diving at 297.95 for 11 dives.
