Eight CCIW Student-Athletes Named to D3football.com All-America Team

NAPERVILLE – Eight student-athletes representing College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) champion North Central and league runner-up Wheaton were selected to the D3football.com All-America Team on Thursday morning.
 
NCC had six honorees, including First Team Offense choices for quarterback Luke Lehnen, tackle Jeske Maples and guard Sam Pryor. All three players are repeat D3football.com All-Americans, while Maples earned his third consecutive First Team honor and Lehen was on the First Team for the second year in a row.
 
Three other Cardinals were named All-Americans by D3football.com, including a repeat pick for linebacker BJ Adamchik, who was named to the Second Team Defense on Tuesday. Defensive tackle John Sullivan (Second Team Defense) and linebacker Zack Orr (Fourth Team Defense) were first-time NCC selections.
 
Thursday’s announcement also marks the third All-America choice for Pryor, who was also named an All-American by the Associated Press on Dec. 19 and the American Football Coaches Association on Dec. 3. Lehnen and Maples were also chosen for the AP award last month.
 
Wheaton wide receiver Ben Bonga (Second Team Offense) and Peter Johanik (Second Team Defense) were first-time picks by D3football.com. Bonga joined NCC’s Pryor as CCIW student-athletes to collect their third All-America pick of 2024 on Thursday.
 
The 2024 D3football.com Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Coach of the Year will be announced following the Stagg Bowl.
